Governance consultance is a key element of IDEE's involvement in local communities in Romania and Eastern Europe. We have been present and active in all the Romanian electoral campaigns and major governance issues since 1996.

Tomorrow's development challenges will require a continous formation and information-sharing environment where active citizens will be able to master and manage collective efforts of reshaping their society and reassessing their needs in their diversity. It is our belief that the way in which the Romanian society will progress and integrate new market rules and new technological depends on the role, the importance and the promotion of a public space open to all citizens. This open space, the civil society, must become an arena for exchanging knowledge, information, opinions, of confronting ideas and building consensus on public affairs.
